Eligibility for Admissions:
 
Any Integrated first degree of BITS or BE/BTech in Engineering disciplines from other recognised universities.

 

Application Procedure:


Interested and eligible students should apply through the prescribed application form available online and take the printout of the filled form. The completed form along with the prescribed fee in the form of demand draft should be sent to Admissions Officer, BITS, Pilani. so as to reach before 5.00 PM on 30th May 2008. 
 

 

Admission Modality:

For admission to MBA., candidates have to appear in the Online tests conducted by BITS at designated centers in different cities (See the advertisement and the detailed brochure available at the website while applying online). Shortlisted candidates will be required to come for Group Discussion, written test in reading comprehension and interview ,at Pilani at their own cost and the admission is made on the basis of the performance in the tests and interviews and Group Discussion..

 

 

 

 

Schedule of Fees (for the year 2007-08):

The fees structure for the year 2008-09 is being finalised and will be announced before the end of May 2008.

All fees are to be paid in advance. Only caution deposit and mess advance is refundable after adjustment of dues at the time of withdrawal from the Institute. This applies to prospective candidates who are seeking admission as well as ongoing students of the Institute.

Institute reserves its right to charge such a fee, which would be adjustable against admission fees if the candidate secures admission

 

Instructions for Payment:

(1) The above are for a normal situation. Wherever a student's programme gets modified or his progress is delayed beyond the maximum permissible, such a student is advised to consult the appropriate authority before registration.
(2) All students admitted earlier than July, 2007 will continue to be governed by the same schedule of fees as before. However it should be clear that they will have to pay along with the new students the same amount of fees for students' union fee, students' aid fund and mess & electricity advance.
(3) The fees and other charges are payable in advance in each semester/term on the notified dates before registration. No withdrawal from a course or courses will entitle a student for refund of fees.
(4) Students who go for Practice School II will be charged semester fees and the summer term fees because the practice school is longer than a semester and extends it to summer.
(5) Casual students will pay fees prescribed for regular students.
(6) Institute caution deposits are refundable only at the time of withdrawal from the Institute.
(7) If there are dues outstanding from a student, his grades will be withheld.
(8) Students who accumulate mess arrears would be required to pay a prescribed additional advance at the time of next registration.
(9) Payments can be made by demand drafts drawn in favour of Birla Institute of Technology & Science on UCO Bank, Vidya Vihar, Pilani/State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur, Pilani. Cheques will not be accepted.
(10) Refunds, if any, will be made through crossed cheques/Bank drafts.
