Some Important dates in Admissions Calendar

 

The following information is given for the guidance of candidates who get admit offers or waitlist offers.  The Institute reserves the right to alter any of these dates.

 

5.00 P.M.

30th June 2010

  • Deadline to receive completed application forms at the Admissions office.
  • First Iteration of admission assignment.

1st July 2010

  • Announcement of admission and waitlist offers after Iteration I.

5.00 P.M.

12th July 2010

  • Deadline for payment of advance fees.
  • Second iteration of admission assignment.

13th July 2010

  • Announcement of admission assignment after Iteration II.

5.00 P.M.

21st   July 2010

  • Deadline for payment of balance fees by candidates selected for admission from the waiting list in second iteration.
  • Third Iteration of admission assignment.

22nd   July 2010

  • Announcement of admission assignment after Iteration III.

29th July 2010

9.00 A.M.

  • Reporting for admission at respective campuses for candidates selected for admission.
  • Fourth Iteration of admission assignment.

30th July 2010

  • Announcement of admission assignment after Iteration IV.

9th August 2010

9.00 A.M.

  • Reporting for admission at respective campuses for candidates selected for admission in fourth Iteration.

 

 

Note:

  1. The Computerized Admission is an iterative process as explained in the Admission Modality.
  2. All applicants should check the website http://www.bitsadmission.com/fd/ after each iteration to check their latest status and also for detailed instructions.
  3. If required, another iteration may be done on 9th August and selected students will have to join on 16th  August.
  4. The admission or waitlist offers of candidates who do not pay fees before the deadline or do not report for admission on the day assigned to them will be automatically cancelled.
  5. Candidates should read the instructions on ‘Advance Fees, Refund and Forfeiture of Fees’ given in the brochure and website and these will be binding on the applicants.
  6. There will be an Orientation programme on July 30th and 31st for all newly admitted students and classes will begin on August 2, 2010.  For candidates who are asked to report for admission on 9th August or if required on 16th August 2010, a special calendar will be announced for extra classes at each campus. Candidates should come fully prepared accordingly
  7. Selected candidates have to make their travel plans so that they can report for admission at the respective campuses on the day assigned to them.
